Somention expands management team

Social agency Somention is strengthening its management team with the appointment of Lonneke van Gils as Operations Director and Fleur van den Akker as Account Director, effective 1 January.

After having fulfilled the role of Head of Content Management at Somention for two years, Lonneke van Gils (formerly Merkle, Click) will become part of the day-to-day management. Further developing Somention’s European organisation is one of her top priorities for the coming year.

Fleur van den Akker has been appointed Account Director at Somention. Having held the position of Key Account Manager for 3.5 years, she has proven to be a valuable asset to the company. From 1 January, she will lead the (international) account team and be part of the management team.

Together with Charlotte Koeleman (managing director), Vivian Kowalski (creative director) and Diederik Chevalier (founder), Van Gils and van den Akker will further shape Somention’s international ambitions as a social frontrunner.

Somention creates social content, engagement & campaigns for brands such as Grolsch, Fleurop, Domino’s and Driscoll’s EMEA. From 1 January ’23, Somention will open a hub in Antwerp (Belgium) and later in 2023 in Berlin (Germany). Keep an eye on our website for updates!
