Somention B.V. processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself.
Below is an overview of the personal data we process:

- Address details
- Telephone number
- Email address
- IP address
- Information about your activities on our website
- Internet browser and device type
Special and/or sensitive personal data we process
Our website and/or services are not intended to collect data about website visitors under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we are unable to verify whether a visitor is over the age of 16.
We therefore encourage parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent personal data about children from being collected without parental consent.
If you believe that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at legal@somention.com, and we will delete this information.
Purposes and legal bases for processing personal data
Somention B.V. processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- To contact you by telephone or email where necessary in order to provide our services.
- To comply with legal obligations, for example where we require certain information for our tax returns.
How long we retain personal data
Somention B.V. does not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to fulfil the purposes for which the data was collected.
We apply a maximum retention period of five years to the personal data referred to above.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Somention B.V. does not sell your personal data to third parties and will only provide your personal data to third parties where this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or in order to comply with a legal obligation.
We enter into data processing agreements with companies that process personal data on our behalf to ensure an equivalent level of security and confidentiality. Somention B.V. remains responsible for such processing activities.

Accessing, correcting or deleting your personal data
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You also have the right to withdraw any consent you have given for the processing of your personal data, to object to the processing of your personal data by Somention B.V., and to exercise your right to data portability.
This means that you may submit a request to us to provide the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation specified by you.
You can submit a request for access, correction, deletion or data portability, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, by emailing legal@somention.com.
To ensure that a request for access has been made by you, we ask you to include a copy of your identity document with your request. In this copy, please black out your photograph, MRZ (machine-readable zone, the strip containing numbers at the bottom of your passport), passport number and Dutch citizen service number (BSN). You can use the Dutch government’s KopieID app for this purpose. This is to protect your privacy.
We will respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event within four weeks.
Somention B.V. would also like to inform you that you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
