Somention Group introduces So Engage: a new label dedicated entirely to community management

We are happy to announce that we are launching So Engage, a new label focused exclusively on community management. So Engage was created to support brands and agencies in building and managing online communities.

“We’ve been handling community management and building for over 40 brands for 10 years, and increasingly, we’re working with other (media) agencies for whom this isn’t a core business area,” says Charlotte Koeleman, Managing Partner at Somention. “We’re seeing a growing demand from agencies to outsource community management to specialists because it requires specific knowledge and skills. Our team includes 30 (international) specialists who work weekends, evenings, and even on holidays. Every community manager is trained in each client’s brand identity, equipped with the right knowledge and experience.”

So Engage offers various services to help brands grow active communities. Community management focuses on genuine interactions that enhance brand engagement and visibility. Through webcare, the team handles first-line inquiries that come through social media. So Engage also uses strategies for community building to grow follower counts and increase engagement. Lastly, through social listening, So Engage monitors all conversations and mentions around the brand on social media, allowing for a swift response to relevant topics.
